Pastor Adam & Marleis are engaging and passionate leaders and communicators, being used to bring the life-giving message of God’s love and freedom.
Pastor Adam brings biblical truths to life by taking the unchanging word of God and communicating it with passion, humour and revelation. Adam teaches the word of God to inspire peoples’ potential and what could be, his preaching energises us with visions of Gods purposed future. Adam’s ministry has been described as, powerful, prophetic and authentic. His communication style touches hearts and lives across social, cultural and generational lines.
Marleis has varied professional experiences in business development & leadership. Marleis has worked with not for profit as well as youth and community service organisations. She has a preaching and Worship Leading gift, and her passion is organized ministries and businesses. “I love to see purpose driven churches, not for profits and start-ups identify and implement helpful systems and structures that will create health, longevity and strength.”
Adam and Marleis have been ordained and held a Pastoral Credential with the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) since 2004.

We have 3 great kids, Malachi, Adelaide & Joel, who are eyes wide open, full of wonder and vision for a big future. They love God and desire to see His church effective in their life and the lives of their friends.
Our journey has taken us to Regional NSW as the Senior Pastors of Light City Church in Tamworth (now known as The Chapel), to North Carolina, USA, as campus Pastors of 2 Wave Church locations with Pastor Steve and Sharon Kelly and as interim pastors of a wonderful church community in North Vancouver, Canada.
We returned to our homeland after 7 fruitful years in North America, and are n now based in Newcastle, NSW. Our heart is to bring all that we’ve learned and experienced into this season of our ministry life. Having enjoyed different cultures, styles and models of church, the one important and common thread is this...
